Footprints in the Sand

One night I had a dream
/ Y5 T- o" `  ]/ c+ P1 A) j: FI was walking along the beach with my Lord.5 u2 u# z$ }/ {) z! E# V
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.6 ~& d( s$ a$ J7 N/ O4 }
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,+ A; I2 R& P4 v" `0 t
one belonging to me5 w* d  s; G. t7 R1 o( b, I5 f, J/ c
and the other to my Lord.
; k$ @9 e  q3 s% U) BWhen the last scene of my life shot before me& W# k" t& U2 `1 _+ h" B4 v
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
1 j, C$ `: a: g5 ~) e# z7 M- JThere was only on set of footprints.6 n) a% a9 `/ l! Z2 F
I realized that this was at the lowest 2 k( H6 Y5 p# P; _+ `0 Z
and saddest times in my life.
6 j% F2 [. g6 lThis always bothered me 5 Z2 W6 `8 Q1 E, O6 X
and I questioned the Lord. i  b. B) o1 |
about my dilemma.% f- R  a5 Y" ^3 ~" C
"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,
. l" P' A) w4 ^7 `4 l7 Q; ~You would walk and talk with me all the way.8 d+ y7 j- {" C. L: I! e2 \9 g
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome
  C( \3 r6 g7 K; i2 u* \times of my life there is only one set of footprints.* a. @9 x- `$ ~6 A; k! C- V
I don't understand why, when I needed You most, 5 d: a+ N8 G8 s4 c4 J! z# [
you leave me."
# J  c- g% |4 }6 _He whispered,  "My precious, precious child,
7 h, G! `) T7 _1 u; p! Q, `I love you and will never leave you2 m8 d5 G* S" I# Y4 O4 D7 E" Y3 z  ?
never, ever during your times of trial and testings.
