The ICA Arts, and Youth Programs are hosting a “Travelling Light Show” our FREE Summer day camp in July and August for all youth ages 14-19* (options available for older and younger youth below). This art camp is open to youth of all cultural backgrounds and we encourage a diversity of voices, abilities and creativity levels. Our goal is to create a procession of lanterns and puppets for 3 upcoming community festivals.
We will meet every Wednesday in July and August between 2 and 5pm to learn and create. There will be additional studio time drop-ins to complete your art projects on Thursdays and Fridays, 4-9pm and on Saturdays 10am – 3pm (optional). Come join us even if you have no experience with art, to have fun and make new friends in the community!
