One night I had a dream' n% d3 e+ F% U* c% D4 T# _7 ?
I was walking along the beach with my Lord. " U% k8 E5 K7 D7 KAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life." y! }: p& I/ s6 \% h8 u
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, A* s0 @1 w; A% ?$ Yone belonging to me % \8 |; J j0 H. `: v% ]and the other to my Lord., ^2 E1 n' z6 @ A6 e0 e
When the last scene of my life shot before me* f- Q- g. V* B
I looked back at the footprints in the sand. K3 w; u( I8 ^7 y! uThere was only on set of footprints.$ X: ^. d) n5 b+ t @& n0 E
I realized that this was at the lowest " `3 [, P1 d( s, {
and saddest times in my life. * F# w3 s4 }0 l1 O& u0 x, JThis always bothered me . C; H' T5 e$ v$ u0 {
and I questioned the Lord 8 k% u/ P1 ?1 m& G2 p0 rabout my dilemma. $ R/ `9 M& o( Q: N/ @' r"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,8 Z. t3 D" Y' G% Z& H
You would walk and talk with me all the way. ; B9 s! o7 h6 F! k) T" M+ H( qBut I'm aware that during the most troublesome ( G* U( T2 [+ Y1 M% n$ Y) q# vtimes of my life there is only one set of footprints. 3 N$ \! v& J- J: n1 r6 XI don't understand why, when I needed You most, 4 q( F3 \ f! `% U!
