美加的频率是一样的。加拿大只是GMRS不需要licence。! m3 F9 q* I4 }' H$ O( W: l, ]

7 ^$ S' C) {' c9 K由于Nanaimo的朋友增加到三人，trailheads之间再carpool就比较麻烦了。所以这次大家都直接到Maple Mtn. Rd.的trailhead。先走summit trail，如果下来后还想走coast trail的话，就要走roundtrip了。+ A4 t& X! o7 z

1 A4 d3 ?0 S4 {0 f. P1 W* |0 p不知道zy710000和sunshadow住哪里。这次还是按原计划7：30都到Costco吧。iloveuvic和bonnie22就麻烦痞子接一下。

我们Friday下午去了Maple Mountain, parked at end of Chilco Rd trail head, went through yellow (costal) trail -> then part of the pink trial -> then blue trail -> back to Chilco Rd。 See http://www.northcowichan.bc.ca/f ... aple%20mountain.pdf

- _# Y: w/ z/ f, S) z不知你说的summer tail 是否是blue trail？blue trail 比较容易，costal trail 要难一些。 如两条都走的话, 先走costal trail要好一些(不然累了会影响安全).  景色不错, 还看到了bald eagles and sea lions. But scenery wise, we still like east sooke costal trail better, # C+ W& P) ^. v
/ u) x# I% v7 J0 [, ^) s) e
穿好鞋(must be hiking shoes), 带足水, have fun.
