美加的频率是一样的。加拿大只是GMRS不需要licence。/ s! v2 u2 ~- w2 y' R4 a+ U* s. Z2 n5 T

- P; i0 q7 f* M2 M- g由于Nanaimo的朋友增加到三人，trailheads之间再carpool就比较麻烦了。所以这次大家都直接到Maple Mtn. Rd.的trailhead。先走summit trail，如果下来后还想走coast trail的话，就要走roundtrip了。

不知道zy710000和sunshadow住哪里。这次还是按原计划7：30都到Costco吧。iloveuvic和bonnie22就麻烦痞子接一下。

我们Friday下午去了Maple Mountain, parked at end of Chilco Rd trail head, went through yellow (costal) trail -> then part of the pink trial -> then blue trail -> back to Chilco Rd。 See http://www.northcowichan.bc.ca/f ... aple%20mountain.pdf

& {2 E6 j7 a% Q! _不知你说的summer tail 是否是blue trail？blue trail 比较容易，costal trail 要难一些。 如两条都走的话, 先走costal trail要好一些(不然累了会影响安全).  景色不错, 还看到了bald eagles and sea lions. But scenery wise, we still like east sooke costal trail better,

穿好鞋(must be hiking shoes), 带足水, have fun.
