8 f% _1 g. h. `& ^7 @/ J! [' @One night I had a dream
+ \& K5 u# F4 H+ ~- _8 @. b8 O2 qI was walking along the beach with my Lord.) T& U7 _/ X& U' n
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.
1 `3 H! Y' \# [) i0 D4 m7 ?! kFor each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
. ~9 j3 Y" u; S3 Y+ s1 X; q/ Tone belonging to me' n; ~7 V) D3 X4 y5 \; `: d
and the other to my Lord.
. N$ L/ D$ A2 i6 j& l" jWhen the last scene of my life shot before me5 v$ a$ I) N. ]5 j6 R  S
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.4 N' p1 G; J. B
There was only on set of footprints.6 u  s1 X1 X0 w3 @# v2 s$ Z
I realized that this was at the lowest ) X+ f1 x) u" ~. T
and saddest times in my life.; ~; O% r. k/ i3 _2 ~8 l5 A
This always bothered me # Y. M2 ?, o$ o- E: p" X4 z$ V
and I questioned the Lord
* @5 f% G  X4 K! oabout my dilemma.5 x* r+ q) h4 N; r; I% v
"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,) y) j) M) Q  ^% S
You would walk and talk with me all the way.4 V) M& ?2 K7 B; V7 J. O7 ]4 L; L
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome
& Y+ O. }' Y( S  |times of my life there is only one set of footprints.
# u* `! C' l  d( bI don't understand why, when I needed You most, + r/ B  R9 B# Q$ A1 G/ ~
you leave me."
