One night I had a dream
- ?; M0 e* D9 p7 KI was walking along the beach with my Lord.) x( c2 l8 ^3 I- ^
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.
. X7 f. D' ~! U" wFor each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
) W. D4 e$ I, M, R8 Zone belonging to me
6 R: ?' v: h' T) |6 `* m( [; zand the other to my Lord.
; V8 Y2 P, m& X  x6 a! \When the last scene of my life shot before me
# H2 ~( K  l3 LI looked back at the footprints in the sand.
4 Y0 w7 C7 P) X% l- p! Z. ?& w+ BThere was only on set of footprints.7 N6 J  H' C) w5 y$ L
I realized that this was at the lowest
, L: e* n0 U. q. U% Y% k: Rand saddest times in my life.) Q% U; Z) o" d2 \
This always bothered me
( R4 r. v1 D; J* G2 _and I questioned the Lord; _5 y& e/ x- K: U' t- ?9 ~- ]1 s
about my dilemma.
& Q; u: K' O# d' I& G# n"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,) L1 M* ]/ @; I( @! r/ T
You would walk and talk with me all the way.* G5 k, K) x/ `) o
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome 6 I' c' F$ W' r  Q' n6 X- i+ }
times of my life there is only one set of footprints.
& W- b) b7 [' q2 d6 KI don't understand why, when I needed You most, ' o0 N# K3 J7 ~7 m3 {( y! w
you leave me."6 z' B3 E# {- E$ b4 I# |
