  K' H+ n! ~. _" G* B' T* eOne night I had a dream
7 N8 K1 b9 A6 S2 BI was walking along the beach with my Lord.
2 H/ _5 Q# O6 ]Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.) v! @2 P! N4 j( h. m
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
5 u. Z* E, E1 O: none belonging to me3 ?% p1 M# O' I8 i2 {: M# U5 h$ j
and the other to my Lord.1 _5 }, ~* }/ _' ?- [4 _
When the last scene of my life shot before me
2 K, b1 \6 {  A; e3 p1 W4 \$ ]I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
: Z% n- S* ]. ?1 FThere was only on set of footprints.
) W3 N! ~/ a7 v# W  N4 pI realized that this was at the lowest
- L5 s; h' I7 \5 A+ pand saddest times in my life.
1 t' _% n3 z* c  s& ]4 I8 UThis always bothered me
9 Z# R( @* u# x2 z& l5 j% i& S5 yand I questioned the Lord
0 z2 ^: I% p  G. c* Nabout my dilemma.
4 C# L9 ]8 ], ?- D2 T"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,) }: \, d1 e6 d2 _+ k- ]5 B
You would walk and talk with me all the way.
3 C$ r9 i- N; ^  O5 ]But I'm aware that during the most troublesome
( |  E! |  ?  D2 h1 L' wtimes of my life there is only one set of footprints.

you leave me."
