Footprints in the Sand% ^  k5 `/ H  q3 q/ J' g1 `

One night I had a dream' O6 G" Z  {: I/ Y  {/ z& g
I was walking along the beach with my Lord.8 R7 w6 }" m4 e1 u, S8 e- S0 r
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life., O' e+ Z- e* _
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,  }" H! N  [" v) }" I' |
one belonging to me: E9 v& T: A8 q
and the other to my Lord.0 ~4 V6 |) |1 [1 T, M' k  U- [5 r
When the last scene of my life shot before me9 d; m$ z. D) X; P. h8 {
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
% u6 z- S( ?- V" |& e& JThere was only on set of footprints.
8 w5 o) n, G8 ?I realized that this was at the lowest
0 E2 c, P# W8 @+ kand saddest times in my life./ ^" P5 t7 k7 H
This always bothered me 2 E) H% O' Z+ ]2 C) ~/ H1 |
and I questioned the Lord! i2 ^8 h) z+ A3 w$ t# X. h
about my dilemma.
3 j& N' n4 C- G"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,8 t0 F& L) E6 ~; |) R9 u
You would walk and talk with me all the way.
" U+ T  k8 K! Y& xBut I'm aware that during the most troublesome
, b2 f; F! [' K* Gtimes of my life there is only one set of footprints., a  `1 v2 o6 `2 i5 K
I don't understand why, when I needed You most, 5 Q; N$ _- k' N/ m- o
you leave me."

never, ever during your times of trial and testings.

It was then that I carried you."
