' ]8 R4 y+ }- V! rOne night I had a dream) q- v; r" ~9 j4 S3 D0 d
I was walking along the beach with my Lord.' f) h6 Q  I& n- O  G
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.
( E9 x' J  D% w5 |! ^# Q- V5 kFor each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,4 a$ w+ T1 ^$ i2 S* d
one belonging to me6 z+ `2 \) n: F6 W
and the other to my Lord.0 V1 W/ L' J0 a4 h, H6 Z  {
When the last scene of my life shot before me
- J8 s+ j& a1 g6 \4 g, h( pI looked back at the footprints in the sand.) D: {  E% ]2 L$ M# I7 s& i7 z
There was only on set of footprints.
2 W+ P( K6 w& k2 u2 r- p4 e! K5 w' TI realized that this was at the lowest
, j3 l# d, E  `and saddest times in my life.
  N5 U8 \! g( B' X6 qThis always bothered me
! g6 h5 \" Q: _$ l+ v, Vand I questioned the Lord
9 ]% \' w- }$ j% i  {( N7 eabout my dilemma.
$ T5 g1 a* `  j( ]" J2 U9 a" |"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,7 _* x/ P# _) s: M
You would walk and talk with me all the way.% R: H+ T  y% Z' p; m/ p
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome + D; a9 i" V! i. o: c7 k  \
times of my life there is only one set of footprints.9 O9 B. F$ \5 T" }) y9 q" B0 c& [
I don't understand why, when I needed You most, 5 \! L" X7 o, c2 \1 A4 b1 d
you leave me.". k$ Y0 F4 ]& I+ E) K( M2 j
He whispered,  "My precious, precious child,
