是每年可以新放进去$5000还是帐户总额一共不能超过$5000？需要在年底全部取出来第二年重新放进去吗？加上利息超过$5000也要罚款吗？

在2008年的联邦预算案中，首次推出了Tax-Free Savings Account（免税储蓄账户）这个新概念产品。相信在不久的将来，这个产品就会和RRSP一样为国民所熟知。

首先，给大家一个简单的关于TFSA的介绍：

·从2009年开始，年满18岁或以上的加拿大居民（包括留学生和持工作签证者）每年可以在TFSA里存入高达$5000

·未用的额度可以加在以后使用。比方，如果今年你只存了$3000的话，那么下一年你可以最高存入$5000+$2000=$7000。

·TFSA内的存款不可抵税。

·TFSA内的投资所产生的利息享受免税。

·可在任何时候从TFSA内取款，该取款是免税的。

·任何数额的TFSA取款都可在将来重新存入该账户内，而不会降低你的购买限额。比方，你现在从你的TFSA中取出了$10000，同年的一个月后，你可以如数将$10000存回这个账户，这个数额不会算入你今年的$5000的购买限额内。

·从TFSA中的任何取款不会影响以至政府收回你以下这些计划的补助金：Old Age Security, the Guaranteed Income Supplement, the Age Credit, the GST credit, and the Canada Child Tax Benefit。

·你也可以在配偶或普通法伴侣的TFSA账户内存款

·TFSA的持有人如果离世，存款可以免税的转入配偶或伴侣的TFSA内。

TFSA有助于加拿大人为将来未雨绸缪，而又回避了税务账单。

Note  You cannot contribute more than your TFSA contribution room in a given year, even if you make withdrawals from the account during the year. If you do so, you will be subject to a tax of 1% of the highest excess TFSA amount in the month, for each month you are in an excess contribution position.


Example 1
In 2009, Sarah contributed $5,000 to her TFSA. In 2010, she makes another $5,000 contribution to her TFSA. Later that year, she withdraws $3,000 for a trip to Europe. Unfortunately, her plans change and she cannot go. Since Sarah already contributed the maximum to her TFSA earlier in the year, she has no TFSA contribution room left. If she wishes to re-contribute part or all of the $3,000, she will have to wait until the beginning of 2011 to do so. If she re-contributes before 2011, she will have an excess amount in her TFSA and will be charged a monthly tax of 1% on the highest excess TFSA amount for each month that an excess exists in the account.

你只要是当年从TFSA中取了钱，无论是过了几个月，只要还是同一年，如果你把这笔钱再放回TFSA的话，都会算作是当年的contribution。今年6月的时候，CRA已经给全国超过7万购买TFSA的客户发出了罚款信，他们中多数都是犯了这个在同一年内反复存取的错误才给罚款的。

这个问题前不久在这个论坛里讨论过一次了，有消息说政府可能会更改这个规定，因为这个规定太容易被误解了，以致有很多人受到相同的处罚

Please accept my apologise.What is " Tung Nin Dik  Jet Go Jyt Hau ". "Tong  nian de yi ge yue hou" = "After one Month at same year". June1,2010,"Tong nian de yi ge yue hou" is July 2,2010 ? or July 2, 2011? If withdraw  money in June 1 from TFSA,. Can not deposit same in Jan 2 ,2011? I don't know why to say "Tong nian de yi ge yue hou"?
why not use "this year" and "next year"? Just use "year", don't use "Month".

呵呵，对呀，如果这10年政府对这个政策都没有作任何修改的话，理论上就跟你说的一样。但是有一条要注意，如果09年的时候，你还未满18岁，这又是另一种情况了。

举例说，如果09年的时候，你已满18岁，09年的时候没有买TFSA，那么2010年，你就可以一次买1万。

但是如果说09年的时候，你才17岁，到了2010年的时候你才满18岁，那么2010年你也只能买5000，而不是1万。换句话说，比方一个在2009年才16岁的人，10年后也是不可能存得了5万的。

不知这样说，大家是否明白。

Please again. IF after 10 years then deposit $50000. Why to open a TFSA  account?

如果今年存滿了1萬，取出了5千。明年一月能夠再存一萬，對嗎？
