Lord, T1 c) B. ^5 g* m
having transformed' R l) S9 W) m( D* q# T
sunshine and soil and water and seed,/ A8 c- n& [) F
into food upon which we are soon to feed,
+ S. ~! X# y$ Z8 wwe thank you for life and we want to stay well,
, U3 T/ K- [- C/ e' M* H0 J. Lso we promise to rub our hands with Purell.
* A/ V" |; ^% l, ]7 ZWe who came first and are ready to dine
& H, I9 M( R4 o0 Wthank you that we’re not still waiting in line,
7 Q4 G1 o! Y: n: Q6 c4 Ibut for those who are hungry and eagerly wait, 3 v* D2 j" J9 [
we shall not be greedy and heap up our plate.1 g# h1 \' U" }8 [% S, j
Instead we’ll be thoughtful of all the others
, m$ ]3 d3 t9 D$ n5 vthe way we were taught by our own loving mothers.

the aroma of casseroles perfectly toasted 1 V d3 y X% o3 a. s% e
