Lord,

8 s9 @% h4 @1 p% o0 p2 V. k- M2 u5 Usunshine and soil and water and seed,
, i: _6 m9 X& d' f3 Iinto food upon which we are soon to feed, # ]" ^) N; X0 `6 ^$ k
we thank you for life and we want to stay well, % X9 z6 v b9 z- J8 ^
so we promise to rub our hands with Purell.+ e! J8 o, l ?2 |! h
We who came first and are ready to dine
% B8 A6 ?3 V9 s9 U; {( N, Ithank you that we’re not still waiting in line, : Y1 o% {* l1 ~& Q, B5 f) n" U
but for those who are hungry and eagerly wait, ! l, T# N, C& o$ k1 a
we shall not be greedy and heap up our plate.

9 ^' k# A) t0 ]3 @% ^9 E1 s2 ?the way we were taught by our own loving mothers.

We smell the potatoes all spicy and roasted % Z0 N+ Y$ Q! h, m5 L P# Z
the aroma of casseroles perfectly toasted
