Lord,
& X4 `0 B4 ^) J# `4 U4 h" n! ohaving transformed
8 w, y' d: F" K9 @sunshine and soil and water and seed, }: {/ P6 s8 G& X
into food upon which we are soon to feed, 5 |4 v0 d4 k& y' T1 k7 s
we thank you for life and we want to stay well, 2 }6 v0 J" B4 @7 W* H: d
so we promise to rub our hands with Purell.
) I) ~. H1 S# j5 D3 p5 j, n7 zWe who came first and are ready to dine) U, M0 ]' Z' n, u% {0 }
thank you that we’re not still waiting in line, + m$ {; F, d& n) H- c- c( m6 ~
but for those who are hungry and eagerly wait, 7 F8 [ o5 F% B& P
we shall not be greedy and heap up our plate.1 p, ~) K5 W( b+ ?, h
Instead we’ll be thoughtful of all the others
8 }1 A( i% ~0 Ethe way we were taught by our own loving mothers.
