Lord,
7 [2 |! ^ p( K8 T- xhaving transformed- c- l/ r. M- s- a$ v
sunshine and soil and water and seed,/ d% C5 O( U2 z; V# D
into food upon which we are soon to feed, : t8 |! f- P1 x( ]5 D
we thank you for life and we want to stay well, * w; u: g! K. \' i+ |" X4 {
so we promise to rub our hands with Purell.
# v5 J- n5 I: \) S# I, \We who came first and are ready to dine- }% l' F- B2 h) O) R
thank you that we’re not still waiting in line,
- ?% a+ }$ y* S6 ~ pbut for those who are hungry and eagerly wait, $ R p) L Q7 Q
we shall not be greedy and heap up our plate.

We smell the potatoes all spicy and roasted 8 J" E: y/ @$ b5 Q
the aroma of casseroles perfectly toasted 5 g+ ~0 W. U% M4 M" k# ~
We thank you for people so generous and kind/ P! n7 X: Q; g
