Footprints in the Sand- u  X3 `1 N; ~4 i

; i' [/ S7 P) a* }+ {! gOne night I had a dream
! P) @* n8 ]3 O. Z6 D) OI was walking along the beach with my Lord.
- n& e" P; X3 C* PAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life.6 `  P% ~) K" b, w1 [) F( w. f
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,1 D8 c2 E  I0 o2 |& N
one belonging to me
3 o) V2 q- I& }; j) l1 `and the other to my Lord.; }. @, k; X4 p# U. ^/ T
When the last scene of my life shot before me+ Q7 C) d& o9 D$ ~1 ]
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
2 J- E3 `, q) `' Y+ [There was only on set of footprints.
/ \4 F; w3 p8 s5 M$ K5 BI realized that this was at the lowest   T# F" t' i, w2 M, ^
and saddest times in my life.& q% X+ r% u2 n( i
This always bothered me 5 N) e7 q1 _* a" T& l. H6 j
and I questioned the Lord
4 B3 f! Y- u3 ^! P5 A6 b# Vabout my dilemma.
! ?$ z: x1 [' {6 [, C: v"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,
8 u* ~& Y% A1 V& Z0 W3 |$ vYou would walk and talk with me all the way.6 r. f! L" p3 |, Z
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome 3 u& Z% }6 a' |4 X: S
times of my life there is only one set of footprints./ C+ t0 g. j3 Z5 D  b0 h# N/ q; F% C
I don't understand why, when I needed You most,
9 `- I( Q# e7 b2 P0 Vyou leave me."5 I7 U5 b# {- R8 o
He whispered,  "My precious, precious child,
