Guidelines for Category Level:

A Players excel in one of the four sports and compete

at the provincial level

B Players train in at least one of the four sports

C Players play at a recreational level and haven’t competed

• Matches consist of 4 games – one in each discipline as
5 _% _6 `; M8 `9 {- k2 sfollows: Table Tennis, Badminton, Squash, Tennis
& B* n {, \* I6 q2 g: A/ U- j! m
• Games are to 21 with a margin of 2 using rally point scoring
: \8 _- m% @% V6 V# B2 a1 O' {- ^
(every point counts).
* g* W: N2 y, _+ H- }• Scores are cumulative; the winner has the highest score after
3 \8 \1 k5 ~$ K: d# e/ T3 b- |all 4 games played. In the event of a tie after all 4 games, 1
F+ U( `0 ?7 F3 s" k4 f
tennis point determines the winner.
# X" K: J. C3 K6 Y: X7 a+ m1 u• Players alternate serve every 2 points. A toss of the coin
& `& m/ V1 k3 r0 pdetermines who serves first in table tennis, and then
2 p5 j: i; `6 Lalternates for each discipline.
