6 x% [. O, e. OOne night I had a dream, B5 B. l; C6 j
I was walking along the beach with my Lord.$ l" W# c, E4 P3 z+ u3 I
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.
. O) f$ g+ R! E4 s3 ]. TFor each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,7 m& \; j. e) l+ P* W+ z/ m& M
one belonging to me
: f/ e9 R6 A( g& {, s, y  V  q- wand the other to my Lord.- e! B1 y4 z; ^+ \% l* N; Z/ Z' U
When the last scene of my life shot before me) c) ^- I+ B0 Y
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
; n! C( v% z# ~! iThere was only on set of footprints.
8 l; V: u6 K; j: D1 J- tI realized that this was at the lowest
0 g8 M5 W/ p4 J- iand saddest times in my life.
6 Z* o$ t: O" U! AThis always bothered me - \( Q6 d& t7 s
and I questioned the Lord% i: j2 {! |, f
about my dilemma.
  m& A! z2 n, r, W" A3 A! S( f"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You," k0 s4 v& e, r+ M% d3 ~
You would walk and talk with me all the way.% n( }2 @% r: Z2 c: b
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome 8 L+ W( k% A% S4 @7 y5 f
times of my life there is only one set of footprints.4 y2 }( [" u5 P+ c1 D1 `* }8 O( j* D8 D
I don't understand why, when I needed You most, $ f, z8 ?9 S! q+ L( g
you leave me."
! D& S  v$ N. y( c0 R. PHe whispered,  "My precious, precious child,9 G% T* d5 M0 ?0 C" T1 J' d
I love you and will never leave you
) c2 s& G7 M; ^3 o& a  qnever, ever during your times of trial and testings.8 m7 F7 E) F' _6 `& G  e
When you saw only one set of footprints
