I was walking along the beach with my Lord.* Q* V0 o1 j8 I
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life., n. U; Y& W0 W
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,1 d, Z/ c$ [% p3 a2 I
one belonging to me T: t* \4 l& C( C1 P
and the other to my Lord. * s8 i1 \- \4 |) sWhen the last scene of my life shot before me & B. _+ T' B% ^& K6 B ?6 i* yI looked back at the footprints in the sand./ ^' K4 [; X/ ~& _( m c
There was only on set of footprints. # \/ }) p2 U8 B( a$ x9 FI realized that this was at the lowest & C5 N |8 {1 m; G6 I [- ?and saddest times in my life.9 r- m. j2 }; d% F# J$ T/ C
This always bothered me ; T- w# M4 p7 I0 ]% O( ]0 ?" [
and I questioned the Lord# L7 i6 q |/ A. Y
about my dilemma. 7 `. R M1 }1 p# J& s; v( g"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You, ) }* N2 `$ H! O8 N, t2 o3 SYou would walk and talk with me all the way.- \/ N, [" ?' B: p5 W$ S/ \; B4 `. e
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome 6 O* U5 M% l; C: H+ T" I6 ?
times of my life there is only one set of footprints.' H- I1 U1 L+ d# d2 C2 X) V
