  u. C, a# y; a; c# J; v+ y6 cI was walking along the beach with my Lord.4 v0 O6 ?3 {" g
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.3 C+ S7 `8 G: f3 ]9 c; I2 h
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
0 W' h% z7 ?' Pone belonging to me
% C+ n; \; ]: d- A+ @/ j; z* Qand the other to my Lord.* }/ q- q* C5 a/ R% Z1 {
When the last scene of my life shot before me
- `  G+ g1 }1 Y$ r7 y% k: gI looked back at the footprints in the sand.
. j" D6 b# e) N9 fThere was only on set of footprints.
( W0 |! n! L4 J$ [; j$ M! WI realized that this was at the lowest & l5 R% G) w: Q" f. j4 j  _! |4 U
and saddest times in my life.
: ?$ C, V7 q' O& ]6 H, T3 VThis always bothered me , m8 c, A2 ]2 T$ X8 K
and I questioned the Lord
2 {3 v9 D2 {3 O% `about my dilemma.; v* X9 b  A0 p7 U4 O/ V
"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,
- ^7 i$ K- V; v# P0 t! GYou would walk and talk with me all the way./ b4 h( I0 U' \, a, \% z
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome 4 ]& G9 p0 h$ X9 h  H
times of my life there is only one set of footprints.6 g! w# [  |4 r7 ~* L: O9 d
I don't understand why, when I needed You most, 0 {% G0 @4 v5 o7 p
you leave me."
' S6 v! V, L5 v, W$ qHe whispered,  "My precious, precious child,
+ I4 ^+ K5 `8 S% l) v+ dI love you and will never leave you

When you saw only one set of footprints
