& J2 h" K* p) s- h1 I; q% mOne night I had a dream ! l2 S0 H" @! ~/ g2 f6 [" ?& A1 v* WI was walking along the beach with my Lord. $ |1 V& T9 ~0 D( o( CAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life.9 t. s" ?* b6 p: X8 G$ V0 T, E6 K' _' O
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,) E! l4 {0 d" l, R
one belonging to me9 k0 F- y4 k3 v* p' U- l% Y: S
and the other to my Lord. 4 ^! S3 Q; N& j* zWhen the last scene of my life shot before me0 W7 z9 _, b* e
I looked back at the footprints in the sand. 3 M7 D( B2 n) g& e/ { [; D7 _There was only on set of footprints.0 m2 M0 _& w# [9 G/ U
I realized that this was at the lowest ) z8 T7 H6 D" I% e
and saddest times in my life. " N( ~$ T; l% r7 k& O' ZThis always bothered me . L7 ]7 n$ [! Uand I questioned the Lord ; ~; O' L( Y: n! t; fabout my dilemma. : x" D l2 @7 X5 {1 r# l4 W/ g"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You, : P' w4 q' U7 L9 _! KYou would walk and talk with me all the way. ! F+ U% F0 r2 |( q8 M* S. vBut I'm aware that during the most troublesome 3 u! Q2 f$ T6 C6 j3 Htimes of my life there is only one set of footprints.' I don't understand why, when I needed You most, Y# S9 R# R+ fyou leave me."5 G; w6 m" }$ S6 n* i
