One night I had a dream
2 B! Q# @+ w1 R7 bI was walking along the beach with my Lord./ v3 Y" N/ I; T: W* Y
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.
% Y' L, |* r0 n3 R% v3 ~For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
' D& |# _  e& ^' K  V9 r9 ?one belonging to me
0 q/ Q! n+ A8 |8 |# gand the other to my Lord.4 V$ U* _( Y$ l' y! B% T! l
When the last scene of my life shot before me
$ o* V4 X3 S& \3 |# [& q0 eI looked back at the footprints in the sand.
* s+ e6 y2 Z! c- I1 ~, ?There was only on set of footprints.
) d2 z+ M1 }5 i( ^0 k& H; \I realized that this was at the lowest
5 p! t; K( M" c/ i7 J& v* [' y2 o% V6 Nand saddest times in my life.6 B/ J7 v" I  l5 L, U# E, c4 S+ y6 n( m' U
This always bothered me $ \6 C7 N" t2 p6 `% A$ N
and I questioned the Lord1 @$ L! Z& t# Q+ |1 k$ A
about my dilemma.0 M: \$ P% s! n/ S
"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,% Y! I* x: K! r, n- |" x0 L
You would walk and talk with me all the way.: ^2 t/ [) [  k( Y) W, ?
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome
" Q( ]6 Q# }! o. Z2 ~0 gtimes of my life there is only one set of footprints.
) S$ U. \6 Z& _, B/ |+ QI don't understand why, when I needed You most, " W2 L3 }9 ?- C3 L2 _
you leave me."
1 `" w4 r% J; t: w% f/ U+ VHe whispered,  "My precious, precious child,

never, ever during your times of trial and testings.
