One night I had a dream
6 f4 U3 Q$ u; `( }) nI was walking along the beach with my Lord." ]" A; E  k2 {- m1 ]' D" P
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life." P& V- B. }+ P; B5 U
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,# s# \2 ?+ p5 l1 m) o% ~
one belonging to me
  f' l  k0 a0 ?0 o5 t, mand the other to my Lord.( ~. t  Z8 v; V& h8 g4 ~/ \/ q
When the last scene of my life shot before me* A9 W& Z5 ]. T+ C2 S4 t  `, I: O
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
  u3 d. p5 r1 a& S% b+ M# L8 PThere was only on set of footprints.5 m, l/ \" [+ p+ k' y+ p
I realized that this was at the lowest
1 D1 Z: X5 j9 X6 Wand saddest times in my life.
$ p4 n# s7 `* ?. P9 T$ j# QThis always bothered me
  S: u8 F& u: K& R2 q6 c6 band I questioned the Lord
$ H+ T& G8 d, @! b. N# X# d7 habout my dilemma.1 M& I3 M; G4 T6 b
"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,- V5 H4 I- @( e4 _  X# x" _
You would walk and talk with me all the way.
) ^8 ?2 r4 R& x% }8 UBut I'm aware that during the most troublesome ' y0 \7 S. J8 ?' z4 J/ X
times of my life there is only one set of footprints.' K. q2 z- y& L
I don't understand why, when I needed You most, 0 H7 p. m% U8 z! ?
you leave me."% L2 Y) ?, @4 a; s. E, S% ~
He whispered,  "My precious, precious child,& `! j. s# W) E( l8 }% h/ S: q
I love you and will never leave you
, u6 G. d+ q; \! y2 B1 fnever, ever during your times of trial and testings.
