What scholarships, internships and intake programs does BMO offer?Bank-Wide Student Training Program
- This program was established in 2005 and was awarded the Recruiting & Staffing Best in Class (RASBIC) award for the Most Innovative Recruiting and Staffing Program/Initiative. The Bank-wide Student Training Program is a formal summer program designed for postsecondary students who are interested in a career in Financial Services. This program is designed to provide students with a dynamic working environment as well as networking and career growth opportunities. To be eligible you must be returning to school in September.

BMO National Scholarship Program
- In 1996, BMO Financial Group partnered with the Province of Ontario and the University of Toronto to offer a scholarship program open to all high school students across Canada, through their school’s guidance department. The result of this initiative was the BMO National Scholarship Program at the University of Toronto, awarding an average of 8 prestigious scholarships every year.
The BMO Financial Group/ Lime Scholarship and Internship Program for Students with Disabilities
- The BMO Financial Group/ Lime Scholarship and Internship Program is designed to attract talented students who happen to have a disability. Successful applicants receive a scholarship, and compete for an opportunity for a paid summer internship that ultimately leads to a permanent role with our company as a Financial Services Manager or Commercial Account Manager. Comprehensive intake training programs and ongoing support and mentoring will assist you in achieving success in these roles.
- Scholarships will be awarded as follows:
- Commercial Account Manager - $5,000 per year for up to two years
- Financial Services Manager - $2,500 per year for one year
- Individuals interested in applying for this exciting scholarship and internship opportunity are invited to visit the Lime website at www.limeconnect.com.
The Ron Jamieson Aboriginal Scholarship and Internship Program
- Through our Ron Jamieson Aboriginal Scholarship and Internship Program we offer scholarships and internships to Aboriginal university and college students. These internships lead to permanent roles as Commercial Account Managers, Financial Services Managers, or as a member of our Wealth Management team. To learn more, view our brochure.

Q: How is the interview process structured?
A: Typically, the first round of interviews will be held over the phone. Your second interview would be a face-to-face interview. We conduct behavioural based interviews and questions are encouraged. We are committed to providing accommodations for any special needs identified for the interview process.
